Primarily used for CPEN courses (but sometimes for ELEC courses), every bench in this lab is equipped with a simple DC power supply, oscilloscope, function generator, multi-meter, soldering station, and a computer. A USB blaster cable and VGA Connector are included in each station and software such as Quartus and Microsoft Office are preloaded on the computers. Equipment in this Lab Lab Statistics
Lab Benches: 32 (64 seats total)
This lab is dedicated to courses teaching the principles of electro mechanical energy conversion and transmission. The lab houses numerous custom built instruments from measurement boxes to 3 phase power supplies as well as a variety of motor types such as DC, synchronous, and inductance to name a few. All lab equipment is carefully arranged, laid out, and numbered to facilitate the execution of experiments and to simplify maintenance; therefore it is very important that students exercise good housekeeping manners while working in this room.
