The ECE Machinist is available at MCLD 1034, Tue and Thu, 8AM to 4PM (Ring the door bell).

Request Forms:
🔨 Request Materials Form for unfinished materials (aluminum, steel, wood, etc.)
⚙️ WorkShop Request Form for fabrication/machining services. Important: Must include STEP or DXF file. Images/sketches alone are not sufficient.

















File formats for CAD submissions:
Drawings = PDF (.pdf)
Waterjet cutting = DXF (.dxf)
Machining = STEP (.step, .stp)
Prototyping and 3D printing3D printing services and mechanical design consultation for rapid prototyping needs.
A Rapid Prototyping Lab is available at MCLD 1012.
One team member per group will receive hands-on training (sessions TBA).
A Mechanical Design specialist is available at MCLD 1017, Tue and Thu, 9AM to 5PM.

Getting partsSome basic project parts will be distributed to student teams by the TAs.
As in this course there is a large degree of design freedom, teams are expected to source and pay for all other supplies and project components, including PCBs.
