Tools and Parts Kit

 

ECE 2nd YEAR PARTS KIT:

All incoming second-year students (both ELEC and CPEN) are required to purchase the "UBC ECE  Second-Year tools and parts Kit" necessary for the following project courses: CPEN211, ELEC201, ELEC291/292, ELEC391, and Capstone. IMPORTANT: This is the same kit required for CPEN211, you only need to buy it once for both courses.

For other subsequent project courses, you may be required to purchase specialized additional component Kits.

The contents of the Kits have been carefully optimized to match course requirements and reduce the cost to students and therefore no substitutions will be accepted.

Where to pick up your kits:

You can either pickup your kit from the vendor or for $15 have it shipped directly to your home address.

 

Notice that the kit does NOT include batteries. You will need to supply your own 9V battery and three AA batteries or buy an optional battery set from the ECE Online Store.
