Design supportMechanical design support (Room MCLD315) and Electrical/PCB design support (Room MCLD306) are available 2hrs per lab session.

You are not charged for services listed in the link above but you must work within the specified quota.
Getting componentsRequest components free of charge from ELEC391 TAs during any allocated lab hours.
TAs will ask you to justify your requests and will take notes to manage consumption.
The lab stock is kept in room M306.

3D printingThere are 3 FDM 3D Printers deployed in the lab for free use.
During scheduled lab hours, these printers are reserved for the corresponding lab section.
Off lab hours printers are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

You can also submit printing job requests to Engineering Services; charges apply towards your project quota as per Costs & Quotas posted 'here' .

You have a choice of FDM printing (Low-Res), or SLA (Hi-Res).

Someone from Engineering Services will create an account for you.
Upon completion you will receive a confirmation email and login instructions from Altium.
PCB design support files Support files such as: ELEC391 Component Library, DRC file, etc. are available here
PCB submission deadlinesMidnight, the following days

Feb: 5, 12, 26
Mar: 5, 12, 19
We will inspect submissions, communicate problems detected, and accept reasonable corrections until 5PM of the following Tuesday.
PCB submission instructionsOnly FR4 62mils, 2-layers
Boards failing DRC checking will not be fabricated.
